Thing 9 – Creative Commons
Sharing creativity seems like a great idea! I have always used pictures mostly from the web in my teaching but never considered the sharing side of my use. I can see a great advantage in the ability use others ideas and work in the building of a lesson. I also see a need in a place to go where you know that it is legal and appropriate to use others work. To have a place to go to get ideas and build from them is a great tool to have in your Web 2.0 toolbox. But what does it do to our student’s creativity. Some students are always looking for a shortcut and will this give them that shortcut.
